CBMST's marquee program offering is our full-time, competitive based, six-day a week program. This program includes weekly sports specific training progressions, competition support, individualized athlete management plans, and a comprehensive dry-land training regimen for strength, conditioning and recovery. CB Mountain Sports Team is pleased to have some of the industry's top coaches involved in the program and an improved mountain resource plan.
CBMST's full-time competitive sports program is offered for student-athletes ages 11 and up and is run in conjunction with the Crested Butte Community School. CB Mountain Sports Team and the Crested Butte Ski Club have worked to create an early dismissal program through the Community School allowing the student athlete greater access to training volume. Athletic programming typically runs from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. mid-week with all-day programming on the weekends. Monday is traditionally a rest day. Student-athletes wishing to access this program must understand early dismissal is a privilege and they will be asked to maintain standards academically and from a community perspective, as outlined in the athlete handbook, to continue training and competing with CBMST.
Travel arrangements will be organized by the coaching staff. Athlete and coaches costs are covered by participating athletes and charges will be billed to athlete's travel account. Competition participation is not mandatory. However, CBMST training may not be available during some competition blocks.
All participants must be a member of CBSC. Applicants must include initial CBSC member dues.
